If you are not registered to vote in Derry, you can register to vote at the Town Clerk’s office or with the Supervisors of the Checklist. Call for an appointment at 432-6105 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. A driver’s license or non-driver id with your current address and photo and a birth certificate or a passport covers all qualifications and proves identity. If you are eligible to vote absentee, you can request an absentee voter registration affidavit and a standard voter registration form be mailed to you by the Town Clerk. The absentee voter registration affidavit must be witnessed and then both the affidavit and the voter registration form returned to the Town Clerk.
Go to Voter Registration to get detailed information about how to register to vote by mail. Voter registration information returned by mail must be received by August 26. The last day to return absentee ballot registration documentation in person is also August 26.
